About Diane

DianeI have over 25 years of experience working as a Dietitian in both the public and private sectors. This, combined with my years of experience in life, I feel very well equipped to  help clients in the many  areas of  health management  they may require, including the  mental and physical challenges people face when making lifestyle changes.  I enjoy working with people of all ages from children through to senior adults.  Boys and girls, men and women.

I have first hand experience with family members living with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes and PCOS and am passionate about  helping people with these conditions -  and not limited to this of course!! I have 3 adult teenagers living at home and have successfully survived 3 HSC's...  I have a personal interest in photography, particularly of food, people and orchids!

My philosophy is: "everybody loves food",  so exercise, in some capacity, just has to be part of the equation!  We need to enjoy our lives and that includes eating.  We must keep things simple and that's really important.  Key concepts...take home messages...

I am very lucky to be working with a team of experts in all practices...  Endocrinologists, a Paediatric Endocrinologist, a Paediatrician, Psychologists, a Credentialed Diabetes Educator and Exercise Physiologist which facilitates great team communication for patients.

I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist and am bound by the DAA's  code of ethics.  In order to keep my accreditation valid I am involved in ongoing, Continuing Professional Development, which is assessed by the Dietitians Association of Australia each year.
